Dove Chocolate Discoveries "Party in a Box" Review

My guests and I were in “Chocolate Heaven” today. I hosted a Dove Chocolate Discoveries “Party in a Box”. This was definitely one of the easiest parties I’ve ever had in my home. The only thing I had to make were the Truffle Fudge Brownies and those only required one stick of butter, two eggs, and 30 minutes in the oven. Piece of cake! No pun intended.

The rest of the preparations involved opening a box of Chocolate-Covered Cinnamon Dusted Almonds and poured them in a bowl; sliced some bananas and strawberries and put them in a tray; opened a bag of pretzels; melted the Chef Series Milk Chocolate in the microwave; and brewed a pot of coffee.

All of the above-mentioned products were shipped, free of charge, by the Chocolatier (I love that word!). She also sent me a bottle of Chocolate Martini Mix which I used to make mochas for the adults and chocolate shakes for the children. Had the party been scheduled for later in the evening, I probably would have made martinis instead. The absolute BEST part (besides all of the chocolate, of course) was having options. The hostess package can be tailored to what works best for the people attending the party.

Everyone had a great time, especially the kids since they were allowed to indulge in a little more chocolate than usual (okay, a LOT more chocolate than usual). I have always loved the opportunity of trying something before I buy it. It allows the consumer to make a more informed choice. Wouldn’t you agree?

If you would like more detailed information about hosting your own “Party in a Box”, you may contact Peggy Cioch through the link on her website as well as her Facebook fan page. She graciously donated a box of the Chocolate-Covered Cinnamon Dusted Almonds in the last giveaway I hosted. I’m sure the lucky reader who won them will be as pleasantly surprised as my guests and I were this afternoon. It was a great experience working with Peggy. She is definitely very knowledgeable about the products and is eager to help you in any way she can.
