Nutrisystem Update: Week 2! #nsnation

Week 2 on the Nutrisystem program was definitely a little more challenging than the first. I started PMSing at the end of Week 1 and by Day 3 of Week 2, I couldn't resist the cravings anymore. I "gave in" on Tuesday when my husband and I took the kids to the mall. I ate lunch before leaving the house, but didn't think we would be gone so long that it would run into my afternoon snack and dinner times. The kids wanted to eat at a well-known national fast food chain which, conveniently for them (and way too tempting for me during that "time of the month"), was located in the Food Court.

I didn't have my "On-the-Go" meal guide with me, but the healthy choices were obvious. Instead, I opted for the fish sandwich (no fries or drink). Then, my husband decided he didn't want to get his meal from the same place we did. He picked one of my favorite places (pre-Nutrisystem) which has the best gyros. As if smelling it wasn't "torture" enough, he offered me a bite. I took one and then another. :( Needless to say, I was feeling extremely guilty.

This week wasn't a total loss (no pun intended). I quickly recovered from my "weak moment" on Tuesday and stayed on track the rest of the week.

My period "officially" started late on Wednesday and ends tomorrow. So, even though I have a weight loss to report, it's not as much as it was at the end of Week 1. You can read about my Week 1 loss of 4.6 pounds by clicking here.

  • Week 2 Loss: 2.2 pounds
  • Total Loss in two weeks: 6.8 pounds

Each week I will update the blog with any progress I've made as well as what I did to get there: the foods I ate and any activities I participated in. I hope you will help cheer me on, share words of wisdom, or anything else regarding this topic. I would love to hear from you!

I have some bloggy buddies whom are also participating in this program. If you'd like, you can visit their pages to see how they are doing as well.
