Nutrisystem Update: Week 6! #NSNation

My sixth week on the Nutrisystem program has come and gone. Is it just me or is time flying by REALLY fast? It feels like just yesterday when I received my first month of food and today, I submitted the order for my third month. It must mean I am having fun!

I mentioned in my update from about three weeks ago I wanted to share pictures of some of the foods I've been eating. I was having technical difficulties and couldn't get them to upload. I will post those below as well as pictures of the Nutribear I received last week. It was definitely a pleasant surprise!

In addition to the ten days of fresh frozen foods I receive each month, I am able to customize 18 days of pantry-ready items. Here are some of the entrees I chose and what I paired them with (dairy, protein, fruits, veggies, etc).

1. Breakfast: Southern-Style Biscuit & Gravy (entree, very tasty and a little spicy, which I like!). My add-ins were three hard boiled eggs (whites only) and a peach I peeled and sliced.

2. Breakfast (on a different day): French Toast (entree) with sliced banana and fat free yogurt. You are allowed syrup on the French Toast (and Pancakes) as long as it's Sugar Free and 20 calories or less. YAY ME…I actually succeeded in finding a brand that fits both of those requirements!

3. Lunch: Toasted Ham & Cheese (entree) with a tomato, cucumber, and turkey pepperoni salad. You are allowed 17 slices of turkey pepperoni (which equals one protein serving). I put them in a "stack" and cut in fours. It gives the salad a little kick. I also don't use a fat free dressing, I usually just sprinkle some vinegar or lemon juice on  it. On days when I don't have the pepperoni, I will take a mozzarella string cheese and chop it in the salad instead.

4. Snack (no entree): Mozzarella string cheese, 15 grapes, and a cup of coffee.

5. Dinner: Spinach & Cheese Stuffed Shells (entree, YUM!) with lettuce and tomato salad and sliced cantaloupe. The salad had one teaspoon of olive oil and splash of vinegar.

Not Shown: There are plenty of Desserts/Snack items to choose from as well. They even have ice cream! I referenced my favorite one in this category, the Thin Mint Crisp Bar in the video I posted a couple of weeks ago.

Water: It is recommended you drink at least 64 ounces of water every day. I was able to get back on track after getting sick last week and drinking 96 ounces of water…every day! I add a slice of lemon to it for some flavor.

"Aunt Flo" is visiting this week. So, when I got on the scale this morning, I was not surprised: No weight loss. The good news: I also didn't gain any weight. Whew! :)

Week 6 Loss: 0 pounds

Total Loss in six weeks: 12.8 pounds.
