Nutrisystem Update: Week 11! #NSNation

This week's update is pretty much a "no-brainer". It was Thanksgiving. There was turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and all of the traditional fare one would expect. Being from an Italian family, my mom also made pasta and Italian sausage. For dessert, she served coffee, cookies and two kinds of pie. Yes, I ate a little bit of everything. Yes, I enjoyed myself.

The next day, my mom came to visit me and the kids. We ordered carryout from her favorite Cantonese place, which happens to be a block away from where I live. I came home with Szechwan Beef, chicken fried rice, and 2 egg rolls (I only ate 1/2 of one). Again, I indulged myself and felt a little sad afterwards.

I jumped back on the Nutrisystem program Saturday morning. It took three days to "let go" of everything I ate on Thanksgiving Day and Friday. I am very grateful, after weighing myself this morning, that I don't have a weight gain to report. :)

Week 11 Loss: 1.0 pounds

Total Loss in eleven weeks: 19 pounds

Each week I will update the blog with any progress I've made as well as what I did to get there: the foods I ate and any activities I participated in. I hope you will help cheer me on, share words of wisdom, or anything else regarding this topic. I would love to hear from you!
