One Smurftastic Party!

Thanks to Crowdtap, this weekend I hosted a Smurftastic Party to celebrate the release of the Blu-Ray/DVD of The Smurfs Movie! The weather forecast called for snow. I had a fun activity for the kids planned around that, but couldn’t do it since it never snowed. As you all know, Spring is my favorite season. However, take some white snow, throw in some blue food coloring, a bunch of kids and their imaginations and I was really looking forward to seeing what they would come up with.

We moved on to the other activities: I inflated a bunch of blue balloons (with helium), made a chocolate cake with blue frosting and wrote “Smurf” on it. Unfortunately, I ran out room on the cake and the last S didn’t make it. I love to cook…baking is a whole different story. LOL!!!

CrowdTap provided us with a bunch of ideas for games, 11 coloring sheets and cutout activities (a hat and glasses for each child). Anything related to arts and crafts, my kids will sit there for hours. They love it, especially when I put their finished masterpieces on the walls.

We ALL had a lot of fun and are really looking forward to getting the DVD. For more information about the movie, games and activities, CLICK HERE!
