Want To Know Wednesday: Mama Goes BAM!

Welcome to 17th Edition of "Want To Know Wednesday"! Each week, I will shine the spotlight on a business or blog! It will cover the basic 5 W's and 1 H! Let's get to know Mama Goes BAM!

WHO is the person behind the blog? "I am a born and raised Canadian who went to New Zealand to travel for one year after graduating from university. I met the love of my life, we went back to Canada for 2 years then lived again in New Zealand for 8 years. I am now a dual citizen (KiwiCanadian) and have just moved to New York through my husband's work transfer."

WHAT is the focus of your blog? "I am discovering New York through the eyes of my toddler and newborn. I am always looking for fun things to do with the kids that I can enjoy as well. I also try to focus a bit on healthy living."

WHERE do you blog? "I blog from home in Brooklyn, New York."

WHEN did you start your blog and/or how much time do you devote to it? "I started this blog when I landed in New York in September 2011. Originally I wanted to blog my experience of what it was like relocating while I was still in New Zealand, but I was pregnant with my second and I was horrendously sick for most of the pregnancy so I put blogging on hold til I landed in New York."

WHY did you start your blog? "Their are thousands of families relocating and people traveling to New York everyday who must have the same questions as me about places to visit, sights to see, etc… Mama goes BAM gives tourists, expats and other New York parents information about life in New York with kids in all in one place online."

HOW can people interested in learning more connect with you? In addition to the blog, they can find me on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
